This is northern (Upper Market Street and Hill Street) corner of the Palace Cinema, which has two screens, equipped with Sony Digital Cinema 4K. A blue plaque on the Hill Street (right) side states that the building was originally the Corn and Wool Exchange, built in 1847-1849 by local architect, builder and entrepreneur William Owen.
