The two-storey stable block, which dates from 1865, is a Grade II listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 402638 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-402638-stables-approximatey-100-metres-to-north British Listed Buildings). It is built of red brick with stone and blue and yellow brick dressings. Its tower has round-headed windows and an opening for the clock face. It contains a cafeteria, toilets, gift shop and craft centre. It has been converted to the information centre.
