With information about a cable monitoring project - due to corrosion some of the component filaments were breaking. With the right equipment they could be heard going 'ping'. It is not as bad as first thought, but they went ahead with the new bridge a little to the west anyway. No date on the notice, so I do not know when the project began, or if it has finished.
