Staplefield Road

The B2115 which currently runs from Whitemans Green in Cuckfield to Plummers Plain near Lower Beeding. An old road that follows a ridge from the 1770s it became part of the first London-Brighton coaching route until superseded in 1816 by a newer and shorter one that later became the A23. Viewed from the junction with Deaks Lane.
