Just about everything you come across within the Elvetham Heath development is mock. In this case the developers have tried to recreate a village shelter (never used), see Image for an original version. Walk away from the commercial/communal area and just about all the houses will have some feature copied from another period or style. It's a pity the original planners were not confident enough to create their own style for a sustainable community in the 21st century.
