View NW on the path from South Kenton station, in Northwick Park golf-course. The four-track WCML along with (nearest) the Watford DC electric lines pass under the Metropolitan & GC (by now LPTB Metropolitan four track DC electric lines from Baker Street and nearest the two-track (non-electrified) ex-GC lines from Marylebone. On the Up Fast WCML line the 08.25 Carlisle - Euston express is passing, headed by rebuilt Royal Scot Class 7P 4-6-0 No. 46127 'The Old Contemptibles' (built 9/27, rebuilt 8/44, withdrawn 12/62).
