This statue of Hercules has been on the corner of Market Street Image and Milk Street on what is now a restaurant Image for around a hundred years. It is believed to be one of pair dating from 1910. Its pair is understood to have been on display at Pole Bank Hall http://www.geograph.org.uk/snippet/12127 but over the years has disappeared. Image Image
