A free house. Lamps, satellite dishes and a CCTV camera cast distinctive shadows in late afternoon sunshine. The building occupies the acute corner of Raglan Street and Alma Street Image The latter must take its name from the battle of Alma, 1854, an episode in the Crimean War, and was presumably laid out soon afterwards.
