Traditional signal box and level crossing with timber gates. The building behind is the former station building. The station closed in 1961 for passengers, 1964 for goods traffic. No noticeable change from Richard Croft's 2007 picture http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/363310 - the signal box still has its wooden staircase; these have largely been replaced by metal ones in recent years. The box still controls the start of the double track section to the north http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4255937 , the line being single into Boston.
