Bridge No 75 at Hightown in Congleton, Cheshire

This bridge carried the original A539 road between Congleton and Biddulph across the Macclesfield Canal before the flyover was built almost immediately above it (see the vertical concrete walls just past the arch). There are five bridges across this gloomy cutting within about a hundred metres. Image]
