Opened in 1875 by the North Staffordshire Railway on its 'Potteries loop line' from Stoke-on-Trent to Congleton via Burslem, this station closed in 1964 and was demolished. Site view north west towards Mow Cop and Congleton. The camera position is roughly looking along the platforms from the southern end, but the site has changed out of all recognition.
