This is a view taken in front of the driving floor. The governor on the right controls the speed of the engine through the cut-off valve gear on the high-pressure cylinders. Steam pressure and vacuum gauges can be seen in the centre with the flywheel behind. This is two images stitched together to give a panoramic view of the two engines Victoria & Alexandra.
