The Boxing mural is part of a city wide ‘Communities Moving Forward’ initiative partly financed by Belfast City Council and the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. The artwork, designed by Blaze fx, depicts local boxing heroes including John Lowry, Billy Birch, Herbie Young, James Gorman, Luke Wilton and Stephen Keenan. The sign on the left is at the site of the Upper Room Church, one of a number of small Protestant denominations in Inner East Belfast.
