Opened as Scots Gap in 1862 by the North British Railway on the line from Morpeth to Rothbury, this station was renamed Scotsgap in 1903. It closed to passengers in 1952 and completely in 1966. View south east towards Middleton and Morpeth. The original single platform can still be seen running down the side of the modern garage.
