Opened some time around 1856 (need confirmation) on what became the North Eastern Railway's line from Newcastle to Morpeth, this station closed in 1887 when the track was quadrupled. View south west from Chillingham Road bridge towards Manors and Newcastle. The station was just beyond the points and before the overbridge in the distance. No trace remains.
