The Oxford Street facade of a section of Lanyon Quay has a piece of public art called ‘Dreams’ by the Northern Ireland artist Rita Duffy. It is designed to hide a service yard which is accessed from Oxford Street. It consists of 40 aluminium panels, the centre ones depicting portraits of children being back lit at night. The word dreaming in many languages is written on the outer panels. The art work is designed to convey the spirit of children’s ability to dream. http://www.culturenorthernireland.org/article/3020/rita-duffy
