View SW, towards Paisley etc. from Shields Road bridge. Shields Road station was a fascinating spot for Train-Watchers, being Glasgow's equivalent to Clapham Junction - constant workings in many directions. The 0-6-0 (No. 57365) is a Drummond 294-class 'Jumbo' (built c. 1895, withdrawn 5/62) running up towards Glasgow Central. At the same, up above a BR Standard 5MT 4-6-0 passes towards St Enoch on empty stock.
