The Elim Pentecostal movement began in Co Monaghan in 1915 under its founder Pastor George Jeffreys (born at Nantyffylon, Maesteg, South Wales in 1889). Since then the Movement has grown to over 550 churches in the UK and Ireland, and over 9000 worldwide.
