Looking west towards the Sixmilewater Park in Ballyclare with the Sixmilewater river to the left. The old narrow gauge railway between Ballyclare and Doagh would have run through where the park is somewhere close to here but there is now no trace of it on the ground. The satellite view close to the east of Doagh shows what could be a short stretch of low curving railway embankment in a field approaching where Doagh station once stood on Station Road opposite and slightly to the north of the old graveyard . A bit like looking for traces of Roman remains from the air.
