By the Trent and Mersey Canal, this is part of Oliver's Flint Mill in Newport Lane, with its calcining bottle oven. The three ovens here (Grade II listed) have not been fired since about 1964. The site now produces milled ceramic materials for the pottery industry. http://www.thepotteries.org/potworks_wk/110.htm
