A view towards the arched exit of this Grade II-listed stable block. The entrance to a museum associated with the Queen’s Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry regiments is visible in the left hand corner. Retail shops, a glass-blowing workshop, a gallery for art exhibitions, a functions suite and a café occupy other parts of the building. The stables, standing 150m north of the main Hall, were erected in 1865 to a design by Anthony Salvin.
