The Grade II-listed stables and courtyard stand 150m north of the Hall itself. They were erected in 1865 to a design by Anthony Salvin. The Hall however is younger. This is due to the fact that it was not until 1868-1874 that Salvin was commissioned by the 3rd Earl Manvers to pull the existing 100 year old house down and to replace it with the present house, erected 500 metres (550 yds) to the north.
