Shoemakers' Row is an 80 metres long cul-de-sac on the south side of Bridgend Road. The bilingual street name sign is consistent is showing Shoemakers' (ie more than one) and Rhes y Cryddion in Welsh. Cryddion is the plural of crydd, a cobbler or shoemaker. On signs on the right, a black arrow points left for Bridgend. Another one points right towards (central) Maesteg and Caerau.
