The stone reads: This Wing was erected to the Memory of the Men of Lowestoft who fell in the Great War 1914-1918 and Opened by Field Marshall the Viscount Allenby G,C,B., G.C.M.G. 17th June 1926. The Hospital wing can be seen here: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/4224493
