Looking back towards St Botolph's Church and past the PAB Translation Centre the Grade II-listed General Post Office building, built in 1935, can be seen. It is in Queen Anne style with a corner entrance and a tower capped with domed roof in copper. A municipal park - Central Park - can be accessed via Park Gate, a cul-de-sac between the Post Office and Prezzo's restaurant.
