The church was built in the first half of the 15th C, and restored in the late 19th. It is Grade I listed http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1172977 . A monument, an obelisk, and four of the tomb chests in the churchyard are Grade II listed http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/results.aspx .
