Raddon Brake is a narrow shelter belt of woodland which runs alongside the lane between Lewdown and Sydenham. The photo is taken from a gateway where access to a field provides an unimpeded view. The track between the double hedges passes close to the farm at Middle Raddon (on the left) which is in SX4585. Beyond is the Lew valley, running between wooded hills.
