Opened in 1836 by the Newcastle and Carlisle Railway, this station closed in 1959. As Scotby's other station on the Settle-Carlisle line had closed to passengers in 1942, Scotby was left without any stations. View south west from the road. The track is behind the gate. The station house is now in private use.
