An old Belfast Corporation Electricity Department relay box, on the Holywood Road, near the entrance to Blanchflower Park. The Department was merged (by statute) with the Electricity Board for Northern Ireland to form the Northern Ireland Electricity Service which was later privatised as Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) – now Power NI. Image shows the coat of arms.
