An exuberant affair in brick and stone (Image]), the corner turret topped by a copper dome. Stretching along Station Road is the prodigious sorting office, "doubtless for the vast mail generated by the army", which must make it rather under-used nowadays. By W.T. Oldrieve of the Office of Works, 1902. Grade II listed.
