This is an inverted vertical compound (enclosed) by Belliss & Morcom Ltd, Birmingham, No.3908 of 1910. It was standby (1975-1979/1980) and subsequently scrapped circa 1981/2. The piston valve cylinders were 15" & 24" x 10" stroke. It developed 365 BHP at 375 rpm on steam at 160 psi.
