Warde's Moat near Yalding

Warde's Moat was built in 1778 on the site of an older moated residence. The house was a vicarage until 1945 and was said to be the largest vicarage in Kent. It is now separate apartments. This view is from the footpath from Yalding to Hunton which passes to the south of the grounds. The shadow of the moat can just be seen in front of the house.
