This hall, designed by R G Thomas, was built in 1884. It has been empty for a number of years. It was said in 2004 that its upkeep cost the rate payers at least £30,000 p.a. http://news.bbc.co.uk/welsh/hi/newsid_4000000/newsid_4000600/4000695.stm
