Statue of Charles II, Worcester

This statue inscribed as Carolus II (Charles II) is on Worcester's eighteenth century Guildhall. Charles II had strong links with the city of Worcester. He escaped from the city after his defeat at the Battle of Worcester in 1651 and eventually fled to the continent.
