Tesco have been in Stourport since 1966. This store closed on the 25th September 2014 when the company opened a new larger supermarket in Severn Road. The ground floor of the Lombard Street premises, which Tesco occupied, is currently to let. It is difficult to imagine who would require such a large retail area in Stourport but time will tell. The store when open:- Image Update August 2017:- Currently the old Tesco premises are occupied by a Poundstretcher store, including a branch of The Pet Hut Image
