A wide-angle view from the top of Storiths Crag Image towards the main part of the Storiths hamlet, centre of picture. Back O' th' Hill farm just visible on the right Image Beyond Storiths, there is a steep drop down into the main part of Wharfedale in the vicinity of Bolton Abbey. The hills in the distance are those forming the West side of Wharfedale - the dip in the hills roughly in the centre is where the A59 crosses Wharfedale on its way to Skipton. Also close to the A59 is the preserved Embsay and Bolton Abbey Railway - on a visit a week later it was possible to see the steam and smoke of a train leaving Bolton Abbey station for Embsay!
