On the Mond Building (see Image). It reads: “Here in 1962 at the Old Cavendish Laboratory B.D. JOSEPHSON predicted the properties of a supercurrent through a tunnel barrier leading to quantum mechanical circuits, new fundamental standards and ultrasensitive measurements”. Unveiled in 2012 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the discovery.
