On the corner of Sandy Lane and Church Road. Although the sign shows what purports to be the Welsh name for Caldicot, there is no evidence that Cil-y-coed was used in Welsh until recently. The Welsh language announcements on trains and at stations in Wales, which use the Welsh names for places such as London, Bristol, Manchester and Gloucester, use Caldicot for the town.
