The building itself started life as the terminal of Speke airport in the 1930's and was left neglected as the now John Lennon airport was built and extended nearby. We citizens of Liverpool always had a soft spot for the old building and no one was more delighted with the eventual transformation as the conversion stays true to its art deco roots both in its architecture and interior design.
