This is near the bottom end of the lane, which is very narrow past part of the Methodist chapel. On the wall of the chapel in the foreground there is a valve marker plate with the lettering "Myd. UDC W.W.", which must be for "Mytholmroyd Urban District Council Water Works". See Image] for an image of the plate.
