Ex - GWR Prairie tank no. 5541 (the "Prairie" refers to the 2-6-2 wheel arrangement of the locomotive; don't ask me why) leaves Norchard with the delayed 11.09 service to Lydney Junction. 5541 was built in 1928 and "retired" to Woodham Bros scrapyard at Barry in 1962. In 1972 it was moved to Parkend on the Dean Forest Railway and restored for the first of (so far!) three times, being put back into traffic in 1975.
