The pedestrianised part of the street, where street markets are often held, with Friarsgate car park on the left. Seen from the cafe at the top of Beales store in the Brooks Shopping Centre (right side of photo). All buildings to the left of the line of trees are due to be demolished by the Silver Hill redevelopment scheme.
