This points along the road shown in Image I've not yet tracked down the significance of the coloured dots - I expect there's a pamphlet of local walks somewhere that will explain them. But, although they all point away from the river, following it upstream seems a more tempting option. This also turns out to be the route followed by NCN2 which has a brief existence between here and Kilminorth.
