This American-built Gardner steam compressor is not an original artefact from the Grane Mill but is kept on display here. The compressor was formerly at the Klondyke collection in Staffordshire. Unfortunately one flywheel and the governor were damaged when a traction engine collided with it before its transfer to Haslingden. Seen running on Heritage Open Day 2014.
