Possibly the result of a seed from the tomato that escaped from Mr Gulliver's car shortly before his crash http://www.montypython.net/scripts/cycling.php , this is growing in the gutter opposite Shirburn Road. Since his passenger, the accident-prone cyclist Mr Pither, has had crashes near Bovey Tracey and Budleigh Salterton, we are at least in the right county. This plant also casts doubt on the need to ferment and cleanse tomato seeds before germination, although, particularly in the current dry spell, its fruit (if any) are destined to be poor things.
