The repaired back stone of Ballykeel Dolmen

Over three milennia, the backstone of the Ballykeel Dolmen had split and the heavy cap stone had fallen to the ground. In 1963 the backstone was repaired using a special cement and the capstone replaced with the aid of a mobile crane. The repair can be seen clearly in this photo.
