The building on the corner of Cross Street and Bailey Street has 15th century origins. It was altered in 1604, the year shown on the double-headed eagle (the coat-of-arms of the Lloyd family) nameplate on the second floor. Llwyd Mansion was Grade I listed (the highest category) in 1951. In mid-September 2014, the name on the ground floor wall is TONI & GUY (hairdressers).
