Near Duncan Street. 2 underground watercourses used to cross near here -- the Regents Canal which runs in a tunnel, roughly left/right under the line of the zebra crossing; and the New River, effectively a water main which once ran in a tunnel in line with the road but under the green area, which is now a footpath called the New River Path. The New River no longer runs this far, see this link for more information http://www.waterinschools.com/newriver/main.html
