Goosegrass (Galium aparine) is a rapidly spreading annual weed of gardens and allotments. I would say that locally, from 2012 through to 2014, its prevalence has increased year by year, becoming an infestation. Now (September 2014) it's all dead, grey threads hanging on the plants it smothered. No doubt its seeds are everywhere. Will 2015 be as bad?
