Site of the Dominican Friary graveyard, Stirling

A Dominican Friary was founded here in 1233 by Alexander II, but the building was destroyed during the upheaval of the Reformation in 1559. Currently subject to archaeological investigation ahead of redevelopment, this area was the graveyard of the Dominican Friary.
